3 MONTHS OLD

Where has the time gone?  As I look at Blake, I just can't believe we've been such great friends for only 3 months.  We have really learned a lot from each other.  Every day I am reminded of God's amazing gift.  I also continue to pray for Blake's health and safety-- and for all of God's little children.  Thank you, Lord!  I am so grateful to be Blake's mommy!
Boy, has Blake changed.  It only seems like yesterday when we were bringing him home from the hospital {and I couldn't believe the hospital thought we were capable enough to bring this little 6 lb. baby home with us}.  So many other things have changed as well.  Blake continues to sleep through the night and naps more regularly throughout the day.  He has even started to nap for 2-4 hours at a time.  We continue to give him Zantac for his acid reflux.  The medicine has definitely made a difference in his weight and overall mood.  Blake weighs just a little over 11 pounds and is eating 6 times a day.  He throughly enjoys his ocean play gym.  We have named the octopus, Ollie, and Blake absolutely LOVES  talking to him.  Speaking of talking, Blake coos and laughs so much more.  He has even started this gurgling sound and smacking his tongue on his lips.  It's truly a sight to see.  We also sing and dance to some of our favorite songs, Animal Crackers and Five Little Monkeys.  Every day is a new adventure---and I LOVE it!
