THE PUMPKIN PATCH

Our grand plan (ever since Blake was born) was to go to the University of Illinois Homecoming game.....just to tailgate. We were so excited for everyone to meet Blake. Especially since we don't see these friends buy maybe once a year. The game was at 11:00 so that meant an extra early tailgating party.

I was so excited to go that I was up at 2:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. Seven o'clock rolled around and I was still up. I turned off the alarm .......and fell asleep. I wasn't concerned because Blake is usually up by 8. Guess what? Blake didn't wake up until 9!!!!! After feeding him and driving 45 minutes to Champaign, we knew we weren't going to make it to tailgate.

Instead, we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends and had the best time! Our little "pumpkin" was so good. Blake loved spending time with his friends!
