This weekend we went to Chicago to celebrate the season! The city is absolutely beautiful this time of year (if you can brave the cold cold wind). We were really lucky and had great weather!!! The weekend was even better because we were able to spend it with such great friends. We're so excited to start this annual tradition!
Friday night we stayed in Schaumburg (suburb of Chicago) so we could do some EASY holiday shopping. I wouldn't say shopping in the city is EASY this time of year.

The next day we headed downtown to meet up with our friends, the Smiths.
