BIRTHDAY

I started off the day with my wonderful husband and son wishing me a Happy Birthday with a special breakfast........chocolate donuts and chocolate milk.  Yum!  This was really a treat.  Then Blake and I went to a mom's group at the Children's Discovery Museum.  Shortly after that, we headed to get Blake's hair cut.  We weren't there very long before I got the phone call that my Grandpa had fallen and was rushed to the E.R.  About an hour later he passed away.  This was sudden, unexpected, and a shock to us all!  Especially since today was also my cousin's birthday, and the day my uncle passed away 7 years ago!  

On top of all of that, my Grandpa started a mission in Haiti and devoted his time, finances, and energy to the people of Haiti for 30+ years.  Islande, the Haitian that helps run the mission, was coming for a visit to see my Grandpa since he wasn't able to travel back to Haiti.  This would be her first visit out of Haiti EVER!  The ironic part is that she arrived at my grandparents house YESTERDAY........and my Grandpa passed away TODAY!  

No words could say "THANK YOU" enough to my Grandpa.  He and my Grandma has taught us more about a kind heart and giving to others than anyone.  He will be forever missed!!!!!
