CRAZY

Clutter makes me......crazy!  Don't get me wrong, I have A LOT of stuff.  From all of my years of teaching, I have had to have lots of stuff for the classroom.  But that stuff also has to be organized (matching labels with fun.bright.florida.colors) and easily accessible.  Ever since I've been a stay-at-home mommy and family CEO, I can't seem to find the time to clean and organize the way I want to.  Some days, I could really care less.  Blake and I are having fun, running errands, or attending play groups.  Other days, I could loose my mind and get shortness of breath thinking about the clutter.  Then I get overwhelmed as to which project I want to tackle first.

I've followed flylady.net for over 7 years in hopes to keep me on track with "blessing" our home.  It's a site that provides daily/weekly/monthly/yearly tasks to complete to keep your house and life in order.  Lately, I've also been reading a couple of organizing blogs and have been getting the itch to organize EVERYTHING.  Today, my task was the dreaded pantry.  We have two places to store food--so I've been putting off this "thing to do" for awhile.  But no longer.  Today I was able to start and finish the project during nap time (when I usually do my embroidery)----and I LOVE IT!!!!  Here are some before and after photos.

I made the labels using this adorable scalloped paper from Paper Source (which I sell), laminated them, and tied them with a cute polka dot bow.
 Yes, everything needs a label!
These are the baskets up above made with the same labels and tied with the same ribbons.

Our other pantry
(which I found a loaf of molded bread from the beginning of December--hince the need to reorganize)!

And this beautiful pile of adorable fabrics is for an upcoming project.  Stay tuned......
