BLAKE'S 1st TRIP TO THE DENTIST

Oh dear!  That's really all I can say after taking Blake for his first dentist appointment.  They recommend taking kids at age two now.  So I did what a good mama would do and scheduled that appointment a week after he turned two.  I was (and still am) TERRIFIED of the dentist.  I don't want Blake growing up SCARED and needing meds the way I do.  However, I love my new dentist.  So I had high hopes that if I started him early he wouldn't be scared.  

This is about as exciting as it got for Blake.  He liked the chair for about 3 seconds.  Then he was off and looking at the other things in the room.  (Good thing the drills were hidden)!

 Blake was way more interested in the light and the computer than allowing ANYONE to look at his teeth.  Thank goodness they didn't charge me for the 5 minute tour.  Wish me luck on his next visit.

By the way, do you have a Sonicare toothbrush?  If not, you should---it has made a world of difference!
