REST, REST and more REST

I found this picture (courtesy of HGTV.com) and thought I should show you what I have been looking at for the past 3 1/2 weeks. My morning sickness has finally gone away but I've been experiencing chronic back pain for almost a month.  So I've been back in bed, doing very little around the house, and playing with Blake from a lying or sitting position.  Luckily, I have great doctors, and an ever BETTER husband  looking after me and assisting me back to health.

I have to say the best part of having morning sickness and now a bad back, God has caused me to slow down.  Laying down allows me to feel the baby kick and to take the time to watch Blake interact and play.  The weather has been great so I'm appreciating taking small and slow walks (to the mailbox and back) and taking afternoon naps with Blake.  But all of this laying down also gives me more time to think and come up with more projects to do with Blake, for the baby, and around the house.  However, I can't guarantee I won't be in tears in my 7th month freaking out because all of my to-do-list items aren't finished.  Appreciation and prayer is the name of the game these days.

Now, back to the picture.  This picture is obviously NOT our bedroom, but the layout is very similar.  Well.......most of the room is similar, except our ceiling is not that ornate, our walls are still the Bloomington Beige (even though Silver Sage has been on my to-do-list since we moved in), and our bed is never made these days because I'm not out of it that much to constitute making it.  But no matter what, I wouldn't change this time for anything.
