SIBLING CLASS at the hospital

Tonight was a very special class for Blake.  It was a Sibling Class to prepare Blake for what will happen at the hospital and how to help take care of his baby sister when she comes home.  The nurse, Ms. Connie, read books and allowed the two students to help change a diaper and dress the baby doll.
Ms. Connie let Blake pick out a blanket and learn how to wrap the baby in a swaddle.
Instead of wrapping the baby, Blake was more interested in finding the pacifier on the floor.  Blake loved his pacifier.  We'll see how much he still misses it when the baby comes home with one.
It melts our hearts when he says baby.  Is sounds like bebe.  Soooo cute and sweet!
Ms. Connie showed Blake how to properly hold the baby.
We got a special treat on our tour of the OB floor.  There was a baby that was born just six hours before.  The kids got to see the baby, look at his little feet, and see the umbilical cord.
Blake was very proud of his hospital band that says, "I'm going to be a big brother"!
Blake is very excited to meet his baby sister.  He's been very sweet about everything and gets the sweetest look on his face when we talk about her.  We're very excited to see them together for the first time!
