LAYNE'S FIRST DOCTOR VISIT

Layne is one week old today!  I can't believe how fast a week has flown by.  But one thing is for sure, we are so in love with our newest addition.  Layne is such a great baby and sleeps all of the time.  So far, adjusting to this sweet baby girl has been so easy.  Blake is still in love with her.  He loves to snuggle with her and tell her how much he loves her.  You will often hear Blake say, "I love you too, Baby Yane". It's the sweetest thing EVER!

Today was Layne's first scheduled doctor appointment with Dr. Marshall.  Layne's newest information:  weight- 6 lbs. 1oz.  length- 20 in.  She has two weeks to get back to her birth weight of 6 lbs. 3 oz.  She's well on her way.

After Layne's appointment, we headed to my appointment to get my staples removed.  Wow---what a different experience than the first time.  Let's just say how happy I am that those are out and that I won't have to have staples removed ever again!!!!
