GETTING ORGANIZED

One of my New Year's resolutions is to get organized again. I got hooked on this website, Flylady.net, about 10 years ago. I did great the first couple of years. Especially because I love organization, but more importantly, if I took just 15 minutes a day to clean specific areas then I would have so much more time doing what I love more--spending time with friends and family.

The routine has proven much harder since I've moved three times in the last six years. Just when I get all of the boxes unpacked---I move again. Very frustrating!

So with this new year, I'm pledging to get back in the swing of things and sticking with this cleaning/organizing schedule. I remember reading this quote on the website many many years ago, "It's the start that stops you". Which I find so true with many things. But 2010 is going to be a year of STARTING instead of STOPPING.

My motivation this year will be to have a huge yard sale. The money I make will go towards an item I have wanted for over 10 years--- an embroidery machine! I'll try to keep you all up to date on the progress of cleaning and the final report on the embroidery machine. And if you're ever in the area and just dying to organize with me.......I have plenty of opportunities for you. :)
