HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!

Today we celebrated Eric's 32nd birthday! First, we started off with a gift from above---6-8 inches of snow! Eric couldn't have asked for anything better. He LOVES snow!!!! If only he could ski every day.
Eric quickly got outside to scoop our drive. He ended up scooping our neighbors drive too. Blake and I made Eric waffles in my grandma's waffle maker. I have to admit, I do not like the recipe on the Bisquick box. Those are NOT the waffles my Grandma Hitt would make! We also concluded that they do not taste like the waffles here. Do you have a good waffle recipe to share?

This evening we went to the annual birthday dinner location, Noodles! Yes, they have good food. But more importantly, they have free refills on Dr. Pepper. :)
Blake even helped Eric turn the channel so he could watch the National College Football Championship.
Happy Birthday, Daddy! We love you more than you will ever know!

We also had special visitors today! Sid & Nancy Foulke came to see Blake. (Their son, Bryce, is a dear family friend---and married us a short four years ago). They must have known we have been talking about Disney a lot in our house. They brought the cutest Disney book for our little character. Thank you, Sid & Nancy!
