MISSING MICKEY

This time of year is so magical........especially at Disney World.  As many of you know, I worked for the Mouse for 5+ years, and still call Celebration "home".  I LOVED every minute of my time living in Florida.  Don't get me wrong, at the holidays I love the snow and have grown to expect a "white Christmas".  But there's nothing like celebrating the holiday season with Mickey and Minnie.

On Thursday, Martha Stewart and Darcy Miller (her Weddings Editor) had a special on Darcy's recent family vacation to Disney World.  Darcy highlighted her shadowbox scrapbooks, which she calls scrapboxes.  They are incredible---and the Disney ones left me speechless.  It also made me soooo homesick.  At the end of the show, Mickey and Minnie came out on stage.  They panned the audience and everyone had Mickey Ears on.  Then........ they gave every audience member TWO TICKETS to DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!  Now that's my idea of a great stocking stuffer!
